Information about Personal Data Processing

The company CRH (Slovensko) a.s. as the Controller hereby provides to natural persons who are interested in applying for job positions (hereinafter only “Data Subject”) the following information according to Section 19 of the Act no.18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection:

Processed personal data: personal data provided by Data Subject regarding the recruitment process:

Personal and contact information such as name, surname, title, e-mail address, phone number
Other information such as personal information provided in a curriculum vitae, cover letter and other attachments (photos, diplomas, certificates, reference letters and other documents)
Personal data provided during the hiring process or an interview may include various tests and test results.

Purpose of processing: creating a database of suitable candidates for specific positions, for purposes of invitations, organizing and evaluation within the hiring process or interviews for vacant position and in the application of its legal entitlements within proceedings involving infringement of the principle of equal treatment;

Legal basis for data processing: execution of necessary actions before concluding employment related documentation based on the application of data subject and the legitimate interests of the Controller

Legitimate interests of the Controller: legitimate interests of CRH itself based on selecting a suitable candidate to fill a vacant position, in the application of its legal entitlements within proceedings involving infringement of the principle of equal treatment.

Recipients/categories of recipients: companies belonging to the CRH Group operating in the Slovak Republic, in particular:

Data retention period/ criteria used to determine the period: duration of the purpose of processing (duration of recruitment process), 3 years from filling of the job position in matters of application of legal claims in Labour Law affairs, one calendar year in the registry of an organizational unit, retention period according to the registry plan and registry code in the registry center, archive if the document has a permanent documentary value.

Rights of Data Subject: right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, right to object to processing, data portability, right to lodge a complaint and to file an application for the commencement of proceedings for the protection of personal data

Provision of personal data is a statutory and contractual requirement of the Data Controller and if it is not provided, the Data Subject shall not be invited to recruitment process.

Automated individual decision- making or profiling is not carried out.
