Senior Reporting Specialist
Aim of the position
This role is part of the reporting team responsible for providing timely and accurate financial and management reporting information and complying with financial policies & standard processes. The outputs from this process will be fed into the consolidated results of the region.
Your main tasks will be:
Management reporting tasks at month-end closing:
➡️ ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data sources before reporting.
➡️ preparation of the consolidated management reporting packages
➡️own and maintain lease database (under US GAAP)
➡️support the controlling team from reporting perspective during monthly closing, budgeting and strategic planning
➡️ responsible for reconciliation review
General tasks:
➡️key user for internal consolidation tool (Anaplan)
➡️support the reporting specialist colleagues in case of need
➡️first point of contact for stakeholders in the reporting field
➡️ participate in any finance related projects, acquisitions or IT changes within the companies in scope
➡️ contribute to define and build standardized and automated reports and operational improvement initiatives within the R2R Team
➡️owner of reporting related SOX controls and SOPs
➡️ handle group internal and external audit requests
You are the ideal candidate of you have
✅bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
✅fluent English and Fluent Hungarian
✅ at least 4-5 years of practical financial reporting experience including experience with multi-dimensional reporting tools
✅ advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (preferably US GAAP)
✅ strong SAP and MS Excel skills
✅ proficient using reporting systems (HFM / Hyperion or similar)
✅ strong analytical and organizational skills
✅ accurate and detail-oriented attitude
✅ proactive, self-starter, strong sense of responsibility, highly committed
